(Episode 49) Presidential Minisode 6: John QUINCY Adams

In minisode 6, we're minding our p's and q's - particularly, the "Q" of John Quincy Adams.  Old Man Eloquent, as he was known, was the son of POTUS # 2 (John Adams), and a driving force behind the Monroe Doctrine we discussed in minisode 5.  Sam is also particularly jealous that JQ became a lawyer without going to law school (not uncommon for the time).

Some fun facts?  JQ lost both the popular and electoral votes, but emerged victorious and became President after a runoff election.  We'll also talk a little bit about alligators (we swear it's relevant) and about JQ's dramatic post-Presidency exit from the House.
