(Episode 52) Wine Break: A Collaboration with V is for Vino

Happy Quarantine, Listeners! It's been a few weeks since our last episode dropped. At the time we recorded this new episode, the world was a simpler, less-COVID-19-y place. Now, well...things have changed. But that's all the more reason for you to pour yourself a glass of wine, sit back, and enjoy our collaboration with V is for Vino's creator and sommelier, Vince.

Vince brought an interesting wine-related conundrum to our attention, and after getting some background from the fabulous folks at Wine for Normal People, we realized that an IYCKI/Vino crossover was written in the grapes!--or, stars!

In this episode, we discuss SCOTUS's recent decision in Tennessee Wine and Spirits Retailers Association v. Thomas, which brings together IYCKI's fascination with the Constitution (specifically, the dormant Commerce Clause and the 21st Amendment) and V is for Vino's love of bringing great wines to the masses.  Long story short: SCOTUS handed you listeners (and us podcasters) a serious win with this one, but that's not the end of the story.

We're really excited for you to find out how the Articles of Confederation (remember them?) brought about today's wine-shipping market! Ok, enough teasers - give it a listen.
